For our new Italian affiliate, we are looking for a Medical Science Liaison for the North of Italy.
About the role
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at Oncopeptides acts as the primary field representative, fostering relationships with key stakeholders such as key opinion leaders (KOLs), haemato-oncologists, pharmacists, and nurses. This role involves delivering medical and scientific education, positioning melflufen within the Multiple Myeloma treatment landscape, and gathering valuable feedback to inform the company’s strategy. The MSL supports medical projects, scientific events, and research collaborations, while working to identify opportunities that address patient and healthcare professional needs. Reporting to the Italian Medical Affair Team Lead, the role requires collaboration across functions to drive engagement and optimize patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include developing tailored customer engagement plans, organising medical activities such as advisory boards and workshops, and supporting clinical research initiatives. The MSL also monitors clinical trends, ensures appropriate use of melflufen by mapping patient journeys, and maintains relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals. This role requires a scientific background, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Italian healthcare system, along with the ability to work independently and align with Oncopeptides’ core values of Science, Trust, Courage, Collaboration, and Passion.
