Oncopeptides appoints David Augustsson as Director of Corporate Affairs

Oncopeptides AB today announced that David Augustsson has been appointed Director of Corporate Affairs. As part of the company leadership team, David will be responsible for corporate communications, including strengthening the relationship with its broad investor base, and also drive the effort to reshape the corporate strategy of the company and enable the execution of it.
“Oncopeptides is a research company on a transition journey to establish a commercial organization and my ambition is to build a leadership team that can both navigate the complex scientific landscape but also the realities of being a publicly listed company with the scrutiny and attention that comes with it. I believe that David can play a key role here,” says Dr. Monica Shaw, CEO of Oncopeptides.
David has a broad background from strategic communication leadership roles within international, listed companies both as a consultant and in-house. Between 2016 and 2023 he worked for fintech company Nasdaq where he during the last three years was responsible for the company´s European communication, including the company´s seven Nordic and Baltic stock exchanges as well as its global efforts within market technology and carbon removal. He has also worked as a consultant at agencies including Prime WeberShandwick and Hill+Knowlton.

After 3.5 years with the company Rolf Gulliksen, Global Head of Corporate Communications, has decided to leave the company to pursue other career opportunities.
