Social Responsibility

Oncopeptides takes its role and responsibility in society seriously. We strive to have positive impact in the local communities where we are present, and encourage employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to do the same.

Through our Code of Conduct we outline how employees should act on a day-to-day basis. The code is reflected in our daily operations and is integrated in our core values and overall company culture.

We are a value driven company and believe that our culture help building trust and engagement internally as well as with society. Our core values were established and anchored through employee surveys and workshops, involving everyone in the company.

Our approach to social responsibility

As a biotech company dedicated to improving patients’ life and wellbeing, the health and wellbeing of our employees and other relevant stakeholders will remain a defining feature of our social responsibility efforts, in line with SDG 3.

We conduct employee surveys to track employee well-being and job satisfaction. The results of these initiatives help us improve employee engagement and keep key talents

We believe that diversity, inclusivity, and equality are key factors that determine the success of our business. We operate in a global environment, with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders from a wide variety of backgrounds. Oncopeptides has a diverse workforce in terms of nationalities, backgrounds, and age range. We also have a good gender balance, with more women than men in the organization, and an equal gender balance in the Leadership Team. In 2022, Oncopeptides was acknowledged as one of the most equal companies among the publicly listed companies in Sweden, by Allbright Foundation.

Social issues in our operations

Employees can access all our policies through our Veeva platform, which also serves as an integrated part of the onboarding of new employees. Our whistleblowing system is also found on Veeva and is in place to report any unethical behavior in the workplace. Any incidents reported are dealt with accordingly.

It is vital that we offer attractive career opportunities. Our ability to attract, keep and develop talented people remains vitally important for the Company

We are involved in the communities where we operate and engage with issues close to our hearts. During the fall 2022 we actively supported a hike on the Kings Trail in Sweden, arranged by Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma, a collaboration between Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and CURE Media Group, to raise research funds, awareness and hope for multiple myeloma patients.
